transmission failure
is their anybody here that ever got transmission failure due to too much power?? let say over 500whp!!
would their be any coating or thing that can be done to a transmission to help it be able to support big power??

at 10K I hope you have custom 6speed gear ratios with custom bellhousing!! is this from Quaife??
for the cryo, who can do this, and what are the benefit?? I tried to search on the web but didn't found anything that would explained me well the cryo coating!!!

cryo is not a coating. search the archives, there is a bunch of info in this.

cryogenics is when something is completely frozen to absolute zero
whe something is frozen to absolute zero all molecular movement stops, when this happens it makes the parts stronger/harder. when you cro freeze metals it actually raises the metals stringth on the rockwell scale about 2-3 points, and 2-3 points on the rockwell scale is like having an alloy gear. sometimes cryo freezing something can be bad. when you make something harder it also becomes more brittle (think diamond, it is the hardest substance on earth but if you drop it you can actually break it)
also there are parts in your transmission that you would not want to cryo freeze ie. your syncro's (they are brass for a reason)
