Do you ever think its cool when you are way from your home and see another Type R? I realize annoucing its location is no good, but its not like I gave a street address or it was near NYC or New Jersey.

Car thieves are only from NY and NJ? If I remember correctly Mstewar's first R was stolen in MD and ended up in NY.
Thieves will go to any extent to find what they want. Don't be ignorant enough to think that because you live far enough away from "the big city" that this can't happen to you. Just be careful, that's all.

correct.. i live in a nice suburb in mid-MD.. and my car was recovered in Manhatten, 100% stripped..
they'll go anywhere..

Opie, take a deep breath. I didn't mean that is the only place they have thieves. Most of the "Help my R was boosted" threads are from that area of the world. I applogize if I offended you somehow.
There is no doubt in my mind that somewhere in the middle of the woods some *** wants a ITR for whatever and doesn't want to pay for it.
No matter where your R is you need to keep if safe!
