i was pulling my car into the garage and noticed a un-normally loud clicking noise coming from the motor. I pop the hood and its still clicking. Its the exact same sound that the car makes when it is about to choke down, and my car is idling between 600-900 rpms. It seems to be running fine and the noise goes away when any amount of gas is applied. I hope i just need a valve adjustment...any other thoughts?

 

how many miles are on your motor and what are your mods?

 

84,500 i/h/e, kenji (5,500VTEC, 9k RL)

 

with only intake, header, exhaust, my best bet would be a valve adjustment.

1/4 qt low
