Doh! My cams aren't crower stage 3 cams
Haha after all this time I should pay more attention. I was talking to my builder and his friend and I was asking about my cams cause I wanted to make sure what was ordered. I mean these cams are like 3 years old now so I was wondering how much the specs have changed. Turns out this is a CUSTOM GRIND crower cam.
That explains quite a bit actually, it was ground for torque and powerband, and doesn't have as much top end as probably the current stage 3. In some ways it's closer to some skunk2 stage specs. Well i found this all to be pretty cool because it explains the awesome midrange power of the car, but for those that buy Crower Stage 3 cams, just be aware that you probably won't have the same results if you're basing it on my dyno. You'll probably get higher hp numbers anyway.

oh well. still made good numbers. what next???
you obviously have a well built motor. i would try some more aggressive cams. you have displacement for torque with the 89 mm bore.

yeah but the driveability was so much fun. I don't think I will change the cams. the tear down looked good, everything seems to be in fine shape. Just the head gakset had to be replaced no warpage or anything. yay!

Do you think Crower would still have the specs on file somewhere? Maybe a long shot, but I'd be interested . . . .
It'd be sweet if they could reproduce them for other customers. Given your results, a Stage "2X" or "2.5" cam based on your grind would probably be pretty popular . . . .

Not sure when I asked my friend Raymond who originally ordered these spec cas he said they were more like skunk2 stage 2....but he can't remember the specs. I can see what i can find out i guess.
