Default Blue Smoke - How To Fix?

I kno blue smoke is oil burning, thats the only thing the search gave me, that its burning oil. How would I fix this? New piston rings? If not, how would I find out what IS burning the oil?

When is it burning ? And you never said, but, I'm guessing it's coming out of your exhaust ??

You gotta describe your whole situation a little better if you want solid help.

exactly for example if it happens when you start up your car its most likely the valve seals..

does it burn at high rpms?

inbetween gears?

when you let off the throttle?

Sry . Higher rpms, and it does as its warming up, and I'm sure its not white smoke that normally comes out, after it warms up it stops. Should I get some of that 70k mile reconditiion my seals, I mean does that stuff actually work?

At high rpms also, I would put my $$ on the rings.

yeah most likely

Black Smoke = burning oil = cracked head

Blue Smoke = burning coolant = rings gone bad

wouldn't burning coolant be more cracked head and WHITE smoke? blue smoke is oil burning and bad rings, think you might've gotten switched up there... rings/pistons, could be worn rings or could be piston damage.. expect about $300 for DIY about $450-500 for shop to fix.

EDIT: ScreaminTeg is right, coolant is white smoke, many apologies

Just to set the record straight here...

Blue smoke = oil burning

Black smoke = rich air/fuel mixture

White smoke = coolant burning
