gsr head with itr valvetrain?
hell guys,
need some help rebuilding my gsr head. im planning on putting itr setup on it but want to use as much of the stock gsr parts as possible. i was told i could move the valves and dual valve springs from the intake side and move them to the exhaust side of the head. then im planning on buying new itr valves and valve springs for the intake side. would it run any better if i get itr for the exhaust side too or will it be the same with the stock gsr ones. anyones help is greatly appreciated. thanks

If it's already apart, get the exhaust side too.
Likewise, keep the GSR head. If you switch to the b16/itr head, you'll lose compression.

i would do the exhaust cam. thats what vtec is based on, moving the exhaust cam so u figure the r has more power than the gsr so there must be some difference

OK, that was about the most random (and incorrect) statement I've seen in a while.
Go ahead with the complete ITR valvetrain if you can find a deal on it. If not, then it may be worth going ahead and upgrading (for safety's sake) to a strong aftermarket valvetrain setup.
