Default Dremel and intake manifold

I was thinking about getting a extra manifold off ebay and dremeling it myself. Anyone ever done this? Worst I can do is screw it up a bit. Any advice?

I'm also getting a 68mm throttle body so I will have to port some manifold to match anyways.

I did it to mine. Not that hard at all and I think the only way you can mess it up is to close your eyes and go about it blindly.

I didn't think it would be hard. More curious what peoples experience in doin it was.

I have a snake adapter for my dremel and I figred I could port out the whole manifold with it.

I would like to do the ports on my head but I'm guessing there is no way to do it without taking the head apart.

I did the intake mani. Took me like an hour to port it out well (while I drank beer) and a little while to clean it up and get all of the metal shavings out of it well enough for my tastes.

Yeah I was thinking I could do that and maybe shove some tissue and masking tape into the intake poart on the head. Then dremel the head a bit. Just to smooth out the the tranistion. Think I'll end up with metal in the engine?

You want to port and polish the head on the block in the car ?? Not a good idea to me, but hey it's your motor. Is it worth it to kill your motor for at best a FEW hp?
