What to do next? -95 Prelude H23
I have a 1995 Prelude SE, with the H23 engine. So far the mods I have dont to it are:
17 inch Motegi rims with Falken Tires
AEM Intake
DC Sport Headers
Hi-Flow Cat
2 1/2" exhuast with megnaflow muffler
Denso Iridium Plugs with Nology Hot Wires
AEM Fuel Presure Regulator
AEM Fuel Rail
And I have my valve cover painted
... also I have a set of AEM pullys sitting in my room.
My goal really is to have the most horsepower possible but im on a budget that probbaly restrics me from going Turbo. $1000 is about the amount I want to spend on the rest of my car. I am having trouble deciding what to do next.
Some possibilities are things liek Cam Gears, new ignition system, upgraded fuel injectors, an air fuel controller maybe ever swtiching out the cams but the problem is finding good mods for an H23 to gain any power at all. I could also go another road and just do some suspension upgrades but what im really looking for is more horsepower. If anyone could give me some ideas or even websites with some parts I could consider please help me out

If you're not going to go turbo, get the new Crower cams for H23...Stage 3's claim 18 HP. Those with springs and retainers is about $7-800...

I second that
Helps your 1/4 a lot. The ride from stock to aftermarket is great .... obviously.
I noticed you said you want springs blah blah, but want to go more towards horsepower. Good times/speed isnt all about horsepower. You have to consider weight, traction etc. etc. Take your spare tire out and the jack.... and lower your lude. Shocks/springs are a great idea.
KYB AGX + H&R Sports for $600 installed.

The Crower H23 cams are being sold, but their site isn't updated yet. Here is their contact info....www.crower.com/misc/contact.shtml, just call or e-mail them and you can order them that way.....
Yeah, also you could get an Unorthodox Ultra SS pulley set, good power there...

Oh my bad. The guy was asking for some opinions on what would improve his performance. I gave him an option. Sorry I didn't look up the EXACT time differances stock vs. aftermarket. Way to be a dick

i think SKDRCR was playing. everybody will agree that a good suspension setup makes a difference in the 1/4mile. if not drag racers would be riding on stock suspensions.

if his motor is in good shape and he does the proper procedures like
colder plugs and a little ignition retard and some tuning he can run
it fairly safely
