Jack stands and a not-so-high floor jack?

So I get a floor jack for Christmas, everything's cool, it's pretty light, has a nifty little handle for easy carrying around, and sure beats the 50-lb POS I was using before. The problem now is that none of my jackstands are short enough to work with it. At full height, the car is still too low, whether jacked up from the front or back. I've looked at Sears and Autozone and come up with nothing, any suggestions?

Those jacks suck.
Use the 70 lb monster.... Or buy an aluminum jack.

I might have to try some kind of leverage under the floor jack.
And yes, it is a crappy jack, but it was free, and I'm broke.

I have the cheapo Sears jack which is probably about the same. Just scrounge up some 2x6 or 2x8 scraps (not 6x6... i'm hoping that was a typo
) and use them under the jack. They also come in handy if you have to lift it on soft ground.

I have 4 sheets of 2'x4' plywood that I screwed together that I put underneath the jack when I need it to get higher.
Andy - who's current ride height is 22" with a 17.5" high al-you-minium floor jack.

Get the sears "suv" jack. Its only 50$.
Edited- I see you already have a heavy jack that works. Guess you're looking for something lighter, nevermind.
