Default vtec motor, non vtec tranny???

Which would be better for race application, a h22ag1 motor in a 93 prelude si with a h23 transmission or a h22ag1 motor with a h22 transmission in the same car?

h22ag1 motor? wtf?? anyways, I would go with a h22a tranny. world of a difference. I had a h23a1 tranny on my JDM h22a and swapped to a M2B4 and I felt a huge difference. well, not that huge but it was pretty much night and day for me.
