Default using a "plug and play" unit for my 01v6,. is it worth it??



basicly just what the title says. I was wondering if it would improve anything
or waist money? looking at the VENOM 400

Probably just a waste but you never know until you try. If it does not replace the ecu then i would say it is a waste on these cars.

right on.. I'm trying to get my "boat" faster without breaking the bank,. and
I'm not looking for a rocket (nor expecting it). one other thing is that it realy needs
to be tuned, what kindof place should I take it? ie. a "performance" shop or to an
import only type shop?

If the funds are not a prob then get the comptech ones they are bad ***. If not then get the OBX ones.

i have the Venom PCM 400 installed on my 99 V6 sedan. too tell you the truth its not worth the 300 dollar price tag. but u will fell a drastic change in ur driving..

How hard is it to install gauges on our car? mostly want trans. temp, oil temp, engine...
no real performance reason but I just want to know whats going on under there....

pretty easy..just need locate all the sensors, installation is pretty straight forward for most of the honda
