welcome to h-tech, use the search function on top... type in "Exhaust" "Quiet exhaust" as key words and under accord forum and grab the results from there. there has been hundreds of threads on this topic..

welcome... as well

but do your reading.. remember to lower sound, is to hinder performance..

because to lower sound you must restrict air flow... so you ll have to find a system.. create a custom set up and find a happy middle between sound and peformance

Get Dynomax Super Turbos. They flow a lot better than stock and are only a little louder. They are cheap too, or should I say affordable. Walker Dynomax is a pretty big company and make a lot of OEM mufflers. Saleen and other performance tuners use the super turbos.

Most exhausts come with silencers now adays to get them street-able. But basically the size of the tip is going to determine how loud it is.

Actually, the size of the tip has a VERY little effect in the loudness of the exhaust.

The muffler and resonator(s) are the main determining factors of the loudness.

****, my Apexi WS has about a 4" tip and its just as quiet as stock.

what he said

i have a thermal R&D exhaust (it looks like an accord EX muffler with a lil bigger tips) and its not THAT loud...it can get loud but its a really deep tone and it sounds sweet as all hell... not to mention you can feel the power gain pretty easy. if you want stock look with a lil bit of loudness, thermal R&D is your exhaust

those silencers usually give this buzzing sound that gets super annoying, anyone figure out a way to get rid of the buzz?
