D16Y8 in 88 Si
Guys, the search brought up nothing, so hear goes...
Any differences w/ D16Y8 (96-00) EX swap from the D16Z6 swap to '88 CRX Si?
Any general info. regarding this particular swap would be helpful.
-appreciate any assistance.

Ya might want to check the tranny and make sure it is a cable clutch, It is an obd computer, but so is the Z6 so just make sure you use your dist., But other then that I don't think there is much difference in installing, still uses the stock mounts, But i might be wrong.
CRX Distributor bolts straight up to a d16y8 with no modification, makes things a little easier than a d16z6. y8 also has a little higher compression and a little more torque (depending on which intake mainfold you choose to use).
you can use your tranny, just get a flywheel from a 90-91 Si, a pressure plate from the 90-91 Si (212mm), and a clutch disc from a 86-89 Accord 2.0 so you can get rid of the little wimpy 200mm clutch that the 88's came with.. i had one then i did this upgrade, big big difference.....
