Default new paint

after a fresh paint job, what exactly do you guys do with the paint. For example after you wet sand with 2000 grit what compound and stuff do you use afterwards, i am really confused on what to use?

3M makes great products for after paint .. like 3M polishing compound .. but you might just be able to get away with... say, liquid glass plosh on a buffer .. put it on by had then take it off with the wheel (be gentle though)

After I painted my car and wetsanded it. I used Rubbing Compound w/ a buffer, then Pad Glaze w/ a buffer (different pad), then Hand Glaze (use an old clean shirt to apply, then a dry piece of the shirt to wipe off), then I waxed it with Blitz wax. According to the paint shop guy he said it's the best paste wax.

Good luck

*EDIT* I used all 3M products.
