Default Coolant Burning

What reasons could there be for my coolant burning up. I checked it a week later and it was low, when i get out of my car it has a sweet smell which i am guessing is the coolant burning.

maybe ur cooling fan aint workin....i had the same problem in my old car (im not mentioning what it was just because its so embarrassing) and we fixed that and im all good now. my car always started to overheat when i was stuck in traffic for long periods of time. who knows whats up with ur car, just a thought.

my cooling fans are on a switch so it coudl not be them becuase i turn them on before i start the car
