i have a slight hole about 2 inches long and a half inch wide in my accord's body right in front of the rear wheel. Is there somehow i can get rid of this? someone told me that i should sand out the rust, use car putty in the hole and prime and paint the rusted and puttyed area. will this work? i dont want the hole to get bigger. thanks

 

there is a great writeup in the DIY forum at cb7tuner.com. doesnt really matter if you have a cb7 or not, body work is body work. look it up and give it a try. good luck

 

ohh yes, the famous rust spots in the rear of the accord!, i just fininshed mine today! they're common ,look drill out all the rust 1st,rust is like cancer it eats up all kinds of metal u cant even c. then blow the area ot go get sum bondo,sandpaper,80-120-and 220 and sum primer,after u fill this in with the bondo ,file it sand it primer it .just take ur time dont rush otherwise u will see ripples and all kinds of lil things!!!!if ur good with ur hands and can do it do it!!!goodluck
