Default GReddy turbo kit on b-series

Has anyone every put the GReddy turbo kit for the 92-25 D-series civic onto a B-series motor? IF so, whut modifications were need and how much are u boosting? I know max boost is 14 psi. Reason for asking is because I want a cheap setup to run low boost with now internal mods.

Just head over to thepartstrader.com and find one for a B series. Seen em there for like $1800 or less.

It can be done, I put the 92-95 civic kit on a ls powered crx. The thing was real quick(i.e. stop light races), but Once you really get going 70-80 mph, it felt like it was running out of gas, but still pulled a little harder than stock. Considering the manifold mods and piping mods along with having to buy a bov, I would save a few hundred more and buy a drag or rev hard.

1400 for the kit
200 for the bov
130 for exhaust work to connect to the exhaust(most of it went to a flex shaft that looks like a cat. converter)
115 for a vortech fmu(did not use the blue box)
150 for a starion intercooler
60 for emergency room visit(not wearing goggles when grinding the manifold to fit)
Probably another 50 or so for some minor piping

If you do this I recommned you buy the hks manifold. The b series one. Even though I grinded the crap out of the thing, it still did not line up properly. And since I put it in the crx, there was one turn on the piping right below the turbo, that I had to use radiator piping on. There was just no other way around it.

Like I said though, normal stop light to stop light driving, the car was fun, no doubt. But when you do sustained high speed driving, it was not all that great, it was a real big heat pump.
If you buy one, Adam at AEI can hook you up with a really good price.
