Does CC stand for credit card? If so and he doesn't have the capibilities then your SOL. If it stands for certified check I don't see why that should be a problem, unless he is a shady seller.

edit: lol I'm trying to buy that block too. Just waiting for more pics. he sounds real shady, you should stay away.
