94 Accord EX reaar brake problem
Hey all, I'm a n00b here but I hope you can help
I was replacing my rear pads today when I noticed on the caliper assembly that one of the "slide gromets" (best guess at what they are called) was seized
I can get the pads in and the one side is fine but I can't get the caliper to seat on the one slide gromet (the top one). It is stuck in the all the way out possition.
I talked to a friend in parts and he said he can get me a replacement gromet asse. from a core, but I need to get the old one out first. He said there is a nut I have to get out to get the slide out, how do I get one of those things out? I can't even see into the hole to know what size socket to use. I can get a snap on 4mm in but it's a short socket and I don't have a 4mm deep. So I went and bought a craftsman deep 4 but it's too chubby to get down the hole. Any idea what size I need to get to that nut?
thanks in advance.

Hmm, pics would be nice.........
You aren't talking about the rear brake piston are you? If so, You turn it with a big philips screwdriver to get to go back in. If not, well, someone out there will learn something new.
