Nice pictures....
Does anyone have info on that 99-00 Civic 4door. I thought we had the only one in the country that was a race car.

 

Ya know, and I'm not dissing your photo skills at all, but still shots of a race is kind of anti-climatic. Most shots of "races" would look exactly the same if the cars were parked there...

I think if I were taking shots to sell to the drivers I'd slow the shutter waaaay down to blur the background, to at least get Some sense of motion... JMHO Yeah I know you aren't selling these, just sharing them... just thinking out loud. FWIW, YMMV, AFAIK

It's fast! That was the winner of sundays race, not sure about saturday though.

It has a B16 making 203hp on the dyno right after the race. Pretty nice car!

Sorry if the pictures are kinda boring, and thanks for the advice, I'll try the shutter thing next time.

I just didn't have much time to move around the other parts of the track this weekend to take better pics. I was helping out my brother in the black DA and things werent going too well this weekend.

Hopefully, things work out better next time and I'll get some better pics.

 

I remember your Talon parked by the garage at Fontana. I saw a couple of guys always around the Integra. Were you the bald guy with a blue cap and white t-shirt?

That yellow H4 CRX looks like the twin of Travis' car from here in AZ!

I was wearing a white t-shirt, but I'm not bald... so guess that wasnt me.

No don't take that wrong... when I take race pictures they look exactly the same. I was just commenting about still shots of a moving object in general. Nothing personal at all. The "moving" thing only really works when you're close enough to have only one car fill the frame, which can be hard/dangerous to do... It's nice that you posted them and I appolgize, it wasn't a put down.

Was this Accord originally a BTCC car? I thought I remembered a post about it a while back.

 

That was Mirko Racing's former NATCC Accord from 1996-1997.

 

Just curious, how did the H4 SI and EX do in comparison the CRX?

Haha. Thats pretty cool.

I was taking pics from the stairs on the track side. I think that's why mine came out dark.
