Ummm... ok wich blury light was what??



I was expecting a RACETRACK!! you know with a tree, and a scoreboard, or at least be able to see something besides some blury lights in the DARK!!

 

I'm really not too impressed with S2000s in terms of drag racing or highway racing.

Do we know the times on either of the cars?

 

the wrx is a mid 13sec car...the guy in the s2k has never ran at the track

 

awd launch owned the s2k

 

So is it safe to say that a supercharged s2000 runs about high 13s?

 

nah..id say its safer to say the s2k driver needs to improve

for street racing

 

im not too fond of street racing either...but just thought i would post a one of my friend's videos.

 

The title of this forum should be "Legal or Sanctioned Drag Racing". Dont get me wrong, I came up street racing when my dad bought me a mustang gt at 16. I just remember how foolish I was.

 

a moderator here on honda-tech transferred one of my old threads here once. It was a thread about why "street racing was bad" and I had it originally in the general discussion forum. In the thread was a video of an 03 cobra losing control in a race. Either way...the mod transferred it here and said all street racing related material belong in the drag race forum...

s2k was catching up on top end, they should of raced from a roll

 

yeah..the s2k was definiltely catching up on top. As for the BOV, i have no idea..its not my car, but its a direct replacement for the OEM BOV on the stock intercooler.

Need to get that S2000 an exhaust.Relieve some of that pressure faster.

why? real race is from a stop...

 

It's a Forge BOV. I bought that for him because I curb checked his wheel and decided to do something nice. (Really just felt bad.)

When he was starting to catch up, the WRX was already going close to 120mph. Their trap speeds are much lower than that: in the high 90s or low 100s.

 

Oh, and I just found out that the WRX was only boosting 14 lbs. that day. Only...

ahh..sorry..the video is nolonger hosted by my friend..but here are the cliff notes...racing from a stop..the WRX gets about a 6 car lead from the beginning, and it stays that way for a while....and probably by the beginning of 4th..the s2k begins to make ground...by the end of 4th..the s2k is at the tail of the WRX..where the WRX lets off....
