Not at the moment....I may consider a stock hatch plus cash, but would more than likely prefer to sell it outright....I don't really need a 3rd car

DSM people know this mod well, basically you crush the top of the bov to add more tension on the spring. it allows the bov to hold 20psi without leaking

lots of interest in the car so far

Whats the point of crushing the BOV when the stock turbo is good for 13-15 psi.
This mod makes no since b/c your wastegate opens at 14 psi

The upper IC pipe is flanged for a 1G bov. I bought one that was crushed so had I upgraded the turbo, it would be good to go. Also, the stock wastegate opens at only 10 psi. I had a MBC running 14psi. The stock PLASTIC bov leaked at a Meir 12psi. So it had functionality even then.

post somewhere else you retard.

bump for intelligent people

Well considering i have owned 3 dsm in my lifetime every one of their wastegates
open at 13-14 psi
The manual boost control takes vacum off of the waste gate so it can hold more boost
DUH

with mbc off, my wastegate is opening at 10-11psi. A quick search of any dsm forum will show you that stock boost on 2g's vary from 9-14psi.

if you are not interested in the car you have no reason to post here. I hope you have something to sell soon so I can post random negative comments in your thread too.
oh and

for you too

if you want to learn more about dsm's vfaq.com is a great page. Second gen BOV's are know for leaking, that is why he replaced it with the first gen. Coming from someone who use to have a DSM--VR4, this car is in great condition.
