Well I had a chance to pick up my roll bar while I was in Va last week, and brought it back down here and plan on putting it in this weekend. But there is a small problem, its a little beat up and I want to repaint it before I put it in my car. Now don't get me wrong, my car is in no way a show car and usually I am about funtion over fashion, but at the same time I dont like my car looking trashy and would like to have it remain a clean looking car. Just for the record I plan on taking full advantage of the cage and begin taking my car to the track once its all in and junk The way it stand now, it's white but I think that its a little to flashy so I was thinking about removing the paint and making it black so it matches the interior, and just add white padding or some bullshit like that. Or just repaint it white and leave the bling factor? What do you guys think?

I'd paint it black. Looks much less noticeable which is a good thing IMO.

strip the paint and leave it silver. get some fine grit sand paper and polish that bish up or paint it black

Sand it a bit, primer it to prevent rusting and paint chipping, and shoot 2 coats of flat black BBQ paint.

Yeah, even though its inside the car you still want to be as carefull as possible to make sure it doesn't rust all the way through or create a weak point in the tubing.
