Tire Size Question
I'm about to get some new tires for my 16" wheels with a +40mm offset. I was wondering what is the correct wheel size so there would be no rubbing. 215/45/16 or 205/45/16? What would you recommend? What are the pro's and con's? Thanks.
215/45 R16 is the JDM size, not sure what the offset of JDM wheel is tho. I have 215/40 R16 on my +42 16x7 volks, and there's only the slightest rubbing on inner fender wall, that could be my 205 V700s under load though. You should be fine with 215, 205 is a sure thing. What kind of tires?
I'm planning to get the Falken Azenis in 215/45/16. They seem to be the best deal for the price they are going for. I'm just worried about it rubbing. Does anyone else have any feedback about the fitment of a 215/45/16 tire on a 16" wheel with a +40mm offset?
So what would be the best tire size for the 16" Spoons, with stock ride height for now. Future plans include the Mugen Low Downs. And if it comes down to my choice, a little more sidewall is to my liking.
