Default 5,608,312 lb/ft of torque at 102 RPM - Can I get a 4 cylinder for my car

Imagine doing an engine rebuild on this beauty

http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ccsshb/12cyl/

Notice the lightened flywheel

Nice sleeve job

Wonder if we can raise the red-line on this piston and rod assembly

And you definitely don't want to forget your engine lube for this build-up

Maybe I need some little dudes like that in my motor, or maybe this is all one big illusion.

The website said the pics were taken in Japan, but I saw the signs were all written in Korean.

Very late repost as others said. At least a couple of years...

And this monster is much less impressive when you calculate that the engine alone has a power to weight ratio of over 46lbs/hp. A 90hp Civic is twice better than that at around 22...

maybe so but according to the site "the engine exceeds 50% thermal efficiency". That's pretty impressive. The power/weight ratio doesn't really come into play as much on a ship. They don't need 0-60 performance, but they do need maximum fuel efficiency while sailing.

RJ,

there are a few million posts on this web site. Do you actually expect viewers to have looked at all the posts for several years? How would anyone get time to work on their car? And what about reposts on Azenis?

Yeah but this is a road racing autocross forum and we dont care about petty things like thermal efficiency.

On top of that the thing literally weighs 5 million pounds so the handling would really, really suck...
