Default D16Z6/D15B2 Mini-Me Shopping list complete?

Hey guys I have been reading the boards for a while now and have gotten some great info thanks: P

I am almost done (I think) gathering all the stuff I need for my d15b2 mini-me here is the list

D16Z6 SOHC Vtec head
D16Z6 dizzy
D16z6 intake manifold (with all sensors and fuel components)
OBD-0/OBD-1 harness
P28 ECU
4 wire o2 sensor
Inj resistor box
D16Y8 Head Gasket
D16Z6 Intake and exhaust gaskets
D16Z6 Timing Belt

Anything I have overlooked?

Now first order of business will be the DPFI to MPFI swap

In order to do this can I use the injector plugs from a Si harness with the Z6 injectors? or can i use the si injectors in the Z6 manifold?

Injectors are interchangable.. If they are obd1 injectors you dont need the resistor box.. If they are obd0 then you do need it..

You dont use the SI harness, you modify your dx harness for mpfi..

Also let me know if you need a Z6 head, I have one for sale..

So which should i use?

i am going to a crashed Si tomoro to pull the harness

do i need the whole thing or just the injectors clips?

since im doing Dual point to mulit wont i need the risitor box to step down the voltage for the 4 injectors?

Get the whole harness from the Si, but use only the clips for the injectors.

If you are staying with OBD-0 for now if you are only doing the MPFI swap first, then you will need the resistor box.

What I did when I did my B16 and switched to MPFI was to use the Si injector plugs and I kept the wires attached that went to the resistor box, I only cut the other wires and soldered them onto the DX harness. This worked really well and looked factory.

then when you switch to OBD1 you'll have to remove the box.

What kind of compression does the D15B2 and Z6 head yield?

Since i am going to do the Obd1 conversion would i be better off using the obd1 Z6 injectors?

Since you will be using the P28 and converting to OBD1, just use the OBD1 injectors w/o the resistor box. And like it was mentioned, just use the connectors from the Si harness to convert your existing DX harness.

Thanks redline

most of the writeups i have seen for the Dpfi to Mpfi use the Box and stay obd0

how do i split the wires to the injectors without the box?

I've run my mini-me for the past 2 years with very few problems (well, after
the rebuild that is!)
Some very important things to remember:

1) REMOVE THE OIL JET IN THE A6 BLOCK!!!
2) Get all new head studs (Honda or ARP)
3) Replace your seals and gaskets
4) Replace your H20 pump as well!

Good luck!

N/A A6/Y8: 14.98 1/4 mile
130 whp / 114 wtq
Comp. 11:1

That's the same HP and 10 more ft. lbs of torque then my B16.
