Just checking if anyone has a spare alternator they are willing to sell . I think mine is taking a **** on me .

you never find tegs in yards around here. nothing 3rd gen . once and a blue moon youll find a 2nd gen one. but even thats rare. im not really looking forward to replaceing it either, its gonnabe a bitch to take out.

I'm not really trying to sell it that bad,but I saw a fellow ITR owner needed one so I thought I would offer it to him

 

I don't know why it is beleived that the alternator is out but usually it is just the brushs that need to be changed. For the mitsubishi alternator that is found only in the type r's the brushs cost 12.80 at the dealer. just a fyi

 

i dont even want to swap out the alt let alone take it apart and diagnose it and change brushes. i wish i had time like that

Just post a WTB in the classifieds. If there is a nice person out there they will let you have one close to free. Shipping on those suckers run $15-20 so be expected to pay at least that.
