I'm thinking about getting a front lip for 89 CRX, but not sure what kind of front lips will fit. Pics would definitely help.....THANX
You could always get the OEM lip for the 88-89 CRX Si, ya know...
I'm sure you know what it looks like, but here:

I actually took the lip off and make it nice and black again with some Duplicolor Trim Paint. Looks much better - you can really tell the difference in person.
EDIT* Oh yeah, if you want to see those pics bigger, cut and paste the picture location into your browser, and add " .orig.jpg " to the end of each one.

Yes - it's just like regular spray paint. The duplicolor stuff also has that nice fanspray nozzle - SOOO much better than the regular crappy rattle-can nozzles!
The only thing is that on the CRX, the black part of the front bumper (the grill area) and rear bumper is almost like a 2nd part of the paint job, so if you were to mask it off to paint it, it would be nearly impossible to get the line to match up perfectly.
The side and bumper moldings would be much easier to mask off, since they are "seperated" from the door/bumper, and so are the side skirt things - do you call those rocker panels on a CRX?
Anyway, the only thing I used the trim paint for was the front lip. I unbolted the 11 10mm bolts underneath, pulled it off, cleaned it off w/rubbing alcohol, painted both sides with 3 thin coats and dried it in between coats with my Mom's hairdryer

Thanks for the compliments!
However, I do think the lip is fairly noticeable, especially when compared to a CRX that doesn't have it - I think it makes a huge difference!! I really don't like the way CRX's look without the OEM lip. If I ever had a CRX without it, I think I'd feel weird driving it until I got one on there...I don't know why...but not having the lip makes me

Got any more pics of your CRX?? Maybe a few from the side? Looks really nice and clean! - I'm just thinking I should lower mine a bit more on the Skunk2's...

They're by a company called "Flik Racing" and they're the Apex wheels in 15". I don't think they're offered anymore though...? I got them on http://www.edgeracing.com. Thanks for the compliment!!

Will an SI lip fit an HF? I found one at the junk yard but it looks like its held on with bolts and tabs. I've never studied the bottom of my bumper, does it have the holes for the SI tabs and bolts?
