ek4b18c_r: really cause when i shift i goes down to 6000 so how does your tranny have shorter gear ratio?? i thought it would go to like 6500-7000

My ITR does 90 mph at only 3100 rpms. I have to shift at 5500 at the most because the fuel cut is at 5900.

Why don't you just use the gearing calculators posted above?

That would make alot more sense than the other guy waiting till tomorrow and posting what he remembers his inaccurate tach and speedo indicating.

i shift at 8400 and it drops to about 5800 cause i'm still in vtec. Thats first gear though. b16 tranny and itr are the same gear ratio. 98 spec r tranny has the 4.785 final drive . at 4500 rpm in 5th is about 90.

Hey,
I have a 92 integra gsr. It seems like my rpms run high, at 60mph my rpm is 3500rpm at 70mph its 4000rpm. Is this pretty normal or is it high.
