Does the VAFC2 utilize the same wire harness of the VAFC1? I would hate to have to re-wire the whole unit again, could i just unplug the old one from the clips and connect the new one?

 

the vafc2 has a few new functions that neccesitate connecting more wires. i haven't seen the pigtail for a vafc2 but i am 99% positive there are more wires to connect than with the first version. Apexi doesn't have vehicle specific wiring diagrams on the website so you could email them to get those and then compare them to the originals wiring diagram. But to answer your question, no it wouldn't plug straight in to the old versions plug.
