Default Monster Tach

My friend wants me to install a monster tech with a shift light into his 93 accord. There are 4 wires that need to be installed. The usual red and black, then there are a green and white I believe. What are these connected to?

i believe for the 4 cyl, that remaining wire gets cut, right? so the tach read the signal properly? or am i thinking of the little brown and white wires?

had one in the 4-runner. been a while...
