4Bidden short shifter 5th gen
Supposedly, the 4th gen assembly will fit the 5th gen.

If you have a membership check it out, if not
"Requires the 4th gen shifter/mounting plate assembly w/4th gen cables, and 1/2 longer mounting bolts for the shifter. You also have to fasten 2 nuts for the shifter mounting bolts into 2 holes that are already positioned correctly. I used JB Weld Kwik to hold them in place. "

I'm shipping his shifter today, cant wait until he installs it and can give me some impressions.
If all goes well for him I will likely produce a base plate that will allow the use of the stock 5gen cables since 4gen cables are hard to come by since they are used for so many swaps.

I am down for a 5th gen 4bidden SS. Oh how I have been waiting for this so long

You should, hahah. But seriously, thatwould be so sweet if you could make a package with all the right stuff, it would be every 5th gen owners dream to have a true short shifter.
