This is a b16a, Turbo and manifold is in my storage, but it'll be on it when it rolls out. This buildup is taking place at my friend's home...

 

Why did you grind away the support webs on the block? to make room for the turbo i assume?

 

yeah, with the fmax manifold, we needed that much room to make it all fit properly... We left SOME, just took out a bit of the webbing for accomidating the turbo compressor housing...

don't mean to post jack, but you ran a 13.9 on street tires with just a b16? are you completely stripped or something? also, the buildup looks sweet man!!!!!!!!! you give me inspiration

 

Man....all that work and didnt sleeve it. Later that is going to hinder more boost.

 

I've heard 15-18 PSI is possible on the stock sleeves... We'll see... I just needed something soon, I'm getting tired of not having my car... I'll sleeve the next one. Godzilla style, and have LOTS of fun

here's my plan actually. I bought a BONE stock LS motor to play with while the car is running. I'm gunna direct port nitrous it, at about 125 shot, and have a blast when it's int he car, if anything happens to the B16a. Sortof backup motor.

Anyway, I though it'd be nice to have another motor to do a weekend swap if anything were to happen to the REAL motor...
