I would have opt'd for the fiberglass hatch over the cf... ~150 for the fiberglass vs ~400+ for CF.

But, thats me.. I get all that stuff painted too.

I hope you're running hatch latches too.

If you get a CF trunk, can you mount your spoiler on it ? I haven't seen it done, but I don't see why you couldn't. People drill holes for the hood pins in the CF hoods. Anyone know?

ok maybe I can answer some questions..you can use your gas struts if you want I installed them but I took them off since the hatch is so light it takes alot to push the hatch down making me nervous that the struts will break off....second the FAL window I bought it for 215.00 it cost me 60 bucks to get it installed..as far as weight reductionthe CF hatch is very light even with the FAL window I didnt weigh it but I think it is deffinatly worth it
as far as fitment is concerned there is a slight difference with the a slight gap on either side which I maybe be able to adjust with the hinges....the people at FAL say you dont need a factory molding since there window takes care of that by overlapping but I dont think it would hurt putting a molding along the edge looks weird without it theres a big gap but dont take my word for lets hear some of the comments from the other guys who have them on there cars
