Sunday the 28th the timing belt on my crx with a dohc zc fail of the cam gears so today monday the 4th i put on a new timing belt i put all the stuff back on the car and all my tools up i was gonna shut the hood when i saw i was a little low on water so i put some in the ?resavar? i dont know how to spell that and then i went to top off the rateater as i poured water in a hear it pouring out i looked and it coming from some where around my water pump.

What could i have done? I didnt lay a hand on the pump.
could it still run ok like this?....it only leacks when the top is off.
or could the fact that it is jacked up really high make this happen cuz the tilt of the car?

you should have replaced the pump if you did the belt just a normail thing to do. But if the pump leaks that means its bad usually.

 

'reservoir' and 'radiator'. Sorry I can't help you. Maybe you shouldve at least changed the waterpump and gasket. It costs about $25-30 new. I work PT @ Advance and my bf works PT @ Autozone

 

The water pump look new so i thought it would be fine is there any thing that could have happen other than that? or are looks just desevnig
