Some Pictures from SCCA National Event @ Summit Point, April 3-4.
Went up to Summit Point this weekend to help out with a GT1 car. Rained most of the day Saturday but cleared up a "little". Sunday was clear, but cold and windy as hell. The event was smooth as usual for the most part. I didn't get much time to watch or take many pics as was busy for the most part, but the GT race was really good, the T and SS race was surprisingly interesting, especially with two cars going off @ 10. No one was injured thank goodness, but Tom Oates car was one of them. I guess they won't have as much luck selling it now. The car I was helping with lost 1st & 2nd gear and still manged to finish 5th and run 1:17's
Our friend in FV was doing well spun off, caught back up and spun off again so just called it quits pretty much. I am tired, cold and on the worst caffeine wind down ever. I did meet three of the nicest and very knowledgeable guys this weekend though.
Well anyways check out the few pics I did get. The GT3 integra was pretty cool. Lots of money put into it. Did "ok". Probably would just started with a real RWD to begin with. Oh well NMP. Enjoy.

Sorry they are not in any type of aesthetically pleasing order, but Image Station always likes to change that and I am to tired right now to go back.

Not really. I didn't get a chance to talk to him about it. My original guess was maybe a custom bellhoused S2K, but after further inspection of the car (MoTeC M400, Stack gauges, Full Rig and the sickest tool kart ever) I'm guessing this guy has the money for a Getrag or X-Trac, something like that. There aren't exactly many "rules" for GT Cars. I didn't get close enough to look inside or even under the car while the nose was off.
