Default Coil-overs for H1 EG

I am currently in the process of building an EG for the WCHC h1 class. I am curious as to what are the popular coil-over setups being run by the current competitors. I am looking for something in the $1500-$3000 range. I have been considering the H&R road race coilovers, Mugen N1s, Zeal Super Function, etc. What setup would be most competitive? Spring rate suggestions also appreciated (I was thinking 500f/800r).

And please I am not looking for advice like "Stay out of H1 if you are new" or whatever. I have been roadracing motorcycles for some time and I am just not interested in building a non-hybrid race Honda because, well, I just need something fast. I'm not expecting to win or anything, just have fun. Thanks

My suggestion, unless you are at the stage of your project where you must buy these now, is to attend the next WCHC race at Willow Springs 5/1-5/2 and speak to the drivers about their set-ups. Most if not all will be happy to offer their insight.

I would avoid making your decision solely based on a message board discussion.

I agree go to the race and see what everybody is running. Also remember some of the setup will be dependent upon your driving style/preference. Tein N1's are really nice though!!!
