Alarm won't go off.. valet mode wut??
hmm,, usally u have to put your car key in and turn it so everything turns on.. then flip the switch.. the LED for the alarm will usally change from a solid color to off. meaning the alarm is off of valet mode.
Siren still won't make noise. any ideas
u might of got it wet, or the groud is not connected, check all the connections to the Sirens, or just buy a new 125db one, those are mad loud, im runing 4 of em

Try testing the siren by connecting 12v to it.. maybe it mite be a bad siren.. If the siren is still good,, might be just the alarm.. when my car was in the impound the alarm went off crazy.. 4 sirens + main siren with a back up battery.. cops went crazy cuz they couldnt stop it.. in any event my alarm brain was toasted after that.
With your short description all I can suggest is that you check ALL of your grounds. How do the lights flash? Do they just always flash or does it seem to operate like a normal alarm minus the sound? Does it seem to arm/disarm? If it is in valet mode you might try hitting the switch when the ignition is in the "on" position. Also the alarm name is probably on back of the brain.
If the siren works when hooked up strait to 12V, then I would say the relay for it is bad or there is some weird problem in the brain. Either way, if there is no brand name anywhere it is probably not worth your time or money. Get one from any of the multiple brands by DEI. They are the industry standard.
