If you have rear drums I can almost gurantee you that is a wheel cylinder. Otherwise check your brake lines and around the master for an external leak.
Wheel cylinders are the most common cause for this as you'll still have good pedal pressure but overtime gravity will pull the fluid out of the leaky wheel cylinders as well added force while your brakeing.....over time fluid level eventually drops.
