wtb: 97 or 98 type r
this may sound like a stupid question to you guys, but is it unreasonable to find a 97 r for under 14 or 15 k, please let me know, and try not to flame me too hard for not knowing what i am talking about
Probably not gonna happen but keep your fingers crossed. If you do find one for that cheap it would probably be a good idea to have it thouroughly checked, most people wouldn't sell for that cheap unless there's something really wrong.

Look in the classifieds as I believe someone had a 1998 with 40k listed for $13,500.

97 ITR's are extremely rare
98 ITR's are right there with the 97s
worry about locating one that is reasonably close to your region first
before worrying about the price
expanding your choices to include 00's and 01's will greatly enhance your chances of getting one

There's a 97 ITR on ebay going for under 10 grand with no reserve price. It was a stolen recovered one. But it still has the engine, and suspension. It's around 7 grand the last time I checked.
