i just brough a 91 dx auto w/212000miles cheap and the only problem is IT DOESNT START!! i got fuel,air,spark,cranks but no starts?? now its the timing and i have no idea how to check TDC pics will help

 

ok you can do it the hard way, meaning look it up for diagrams and meet the tdc recommendations. Or you can do it the easy way which I know but no one will ever tell you its a good way. Take the valve cover off. Now there is a small hole you can see the pistons in. Put in a long screwdriver in the first piston location and using a I believe 14 or 15 mm socket turn the shaft. This will make your gear move piston move. when the scredriver comes all the way up that is your tdc. Mark it off with a white out and you have your correct timing... Hope this helped
