Run 5-30 or 10-30 if the 5 starts to drip past the valve cover. It says 5-30 on the oil cap, but sometimes with more mileage its better to go to 10-30 so it doesnt seap through the seals.

Lots of people tell me this about mobil 1, but I've used it for a long time and it hardly drinks any of it and I have a b18c5. Maybe it's because I don't take it into vtec often. Anyway I'd agree and say go with Castrol, I haven't heard of anyone having probs with it

DO NOT RUN 10 w 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has too high of a viscosity for your Vtec solenoid. Mine got too gunked up and my Vtec wouldnt work. Brought it to Acura, 90 bux later it was cleaned.

I'd have to say the exact opposite of this. I ran nothing but Castrol Syntec for almost a year and it seemed like it burned up almost 2 quarts of oil every oil change and then i switched to Mobil 1 synthetic and that maybe burns up a half quart. I'm not positive on how much each one burned up so dont quote me on that it just seemed like mobil burned a LOT less than the castrol.
Mobil 1 10w30 full synthetic all the way

AMSOIL 10/30.!!! simple as that....ive studies petrolium and done many tests on all oils.... and i manage an oil company myself...ive seen the results first hand..
with amsoil you will never go wrong....unless you can afford to get a fully helical synthetic custom made for your motor..haha.....na, but honestly..its worth the few extra bucks..
