Default Honda Podium again in Bahrain F1

Button passes a few to make 3rd behind the two Ferraris, his second podium in a row. Sato holds off Alonso despite having to pit early for a wing change and finishes 5 th. Congratulations Honda.

Powered by Honda. The three most feared words in racing!

Ouch - I'd be unhappy with that title if I hadn't seen it live. I'm sure there are many others who plan on watching the replay and won't like the spoiler.

Great race though (from 3rd on back).

By the way, GREAT race for Honda!!!

I can think of a couple of 2 word phrases/names that are scarrier...
Scuderia Ferrari and Michael Schumacher.

Great result for Honda though, first of the rest ain't bad.

Nice post title

Exactly.

Basically you only have to guess who will challenge for 3rd place or worse.

WTF? "Honda podium" could mean any number of things. 2nd place? 1st place? Button AND Sato on the podium? How did he/they end up on the podium? You're not going to watch the race now at all because you saw a vague thread title on some obscure internet forum?

True F1 fans would watch it live no matter what time ... or at least they wouldn't make the internet their first stop if they have it recorded.

If you were a real f1 fan, you would've woken up at 6am like some of us.

Who said that they aren't going to watch it now? You think it's as much fun to watch a race when you know the outcome?!? It takes away a lot of the excitement of the whole thing. I would have rather watched the Hondas running in 6th and 15th or so thinking that they weren't going to do well and been pleasantly surprised with the ending.

Not posting race results in the subject line is a simple request, though I don't agree with the name calling in this thread.

**** you. Apparently you have more free time than some of us, who are a little sleep deprived and not ready to get up at 7am. It isn't that hard to post a title that doesn't give the race away. And for us Honda fans, "Honda podium" gives plenty away.

Oooooh, the "my time is so more valuable than your time" argument. I've missed live broadcasts of several F1 races over the past few years. If I didn't want to know the result of a race, I certainly didn't go to any internet forum titled "Racing."

With Honda's recent success, maybe you should spend more time on JBody.net on race day?

Of course, after seeing the vague title "Honda podium in Bahrain", the smartest thing to do is click the thread and expose yourself to even more information. Just brilliant.

Man are you presumptuous. I taped the race this morning, but checked in here to see if anybody replied to my post about Mid-Ohio before I watched it. Why? Because we all agreed here a long time ago that we never post race results in the subject lines so we don't have to stop coming here just because we haven't seen a particular race yet. Did I click on it? No. Did I not watch the tape? No. HOWEVER, I would rather not know anything about the results ahead of time. To some extent, it ruins the race for me. I want the stress of not knowing if the car is going to blow up. In this case, I didn't want to know if Button would catch Montoya when he car started to fall apart. The race was not as enjoyable for me because of the subject line of this thread - end of story.

The fact that other people can't respect this simple request is disturbing. What is the big deal in calling the thread "Bahrain GP *spoiler*" and not giving anything away, like we all decided to do way back when?!?

My thoughts exactly...it ain't that damn hard to think up a better title with "spoiler" somewhere in there, so what's the big deal?

It's not as weak as the "you're not a real fan unless you get up at 4am" argument. Having race results spoiled pisses me off, but not as much as snotty little guestures like this. Sorry I'm not hardcore enough to have your respect.

What if the title said "Ferrari on the podium"? I mean, that's pretty much a given for every race, still leaves a lot open for the other teams
