no side moldings (if they were shaved and holes filled then why didn't he fill the holes on the back), ITR wheels, doesn't appear to have a sunroof, OEM painted skirts.

Just what I was thinking. And the tailight issue is nothing to take seriously, I have a set of 94 spec tailights, a set of 98 spec JDM tailights, and my stock tailights and I switch back and forth between them periodically just for ***** and giggles. It's very likely that they were busted or stolen and that he just needed a cheap replacement without having to resort to rice.

This a 97' w/ 98-01 front and rear change over other than the rear lights. It had significant body damage so it was totally revamped and sprayed and no emblems or stickers were put on it. It is #00026 of the 97's. Yes, It is a real Type-R....
I just don't like taking photo's of the front because I have not been able to get a front lip,but I have found an OEM body kit for the sides and rear.

I always get the question of is it real or not. From just about everyone that either knows about them or not. Last night before I wrote this I was at the saturday night meets and I got asked like 3-4 times but once I pop the hood and show the interior the questions is answered.
So again it is real. I will post more photos later when I get out of work.
