Default Wat is a resistor?

i need some help guys... i just bought this CHip... and a friend was tellen me that it might just be a damn resistor. Can someone fully explain what a resistor is. Something about trickin the oxygen sonsors tah thinkin it needs more air... the chip that I bought is called "Della XM Plug& Play Performance Chip" it's for my 2001 accord v6 3.0. anyone ever heard of it...? need some honest answers... any good? hope some one can give me more info.

off topic.... i'm adding tokico shocks and adding eibach sportline springs... and friend told me that the car might butterfly. Anyone have any info on the chances that that might happen. he said that i might need a camber kit.

on to intakes... i'm also planning to add a comptech icebox intake. my friend said that it kinda sucks... low torque and won't give me more than 5 hp. anyone know of otherwise?

Sorry if I keep on refferring to my friend. He drive an MR2 and had friends into racing well before me and so I trust him.. but then again.. if I hear otherwise... i rather go for it. any help would be nice thanks!

you dont even know what is a resister? are you too afraid to ask your friend or something? since they know what it is.

well, just about electric thing got one of those..lol

^picture

it's one of the thing looks like a piece of rice with two wire sticking out of the side. it's often have four colored band around the body.(well, 5-6 if you in the military )

Go to radioshack and you can one of those for 15-20 cents or less.

what's the use? it offer resistance to electric flow(not trying to going over the whole damn electronic theory)

I am pretty sure you just visited ebay not too long ago, well, just throw that thing away, it wouldnt do a jack-sh-t.

icebox is the shizzle if you can afford it, i personally would go for aem v2 for that kind of money. BTW which intake would give a stock honda 5whp anyway?

Please stop using slang, the only butterfly i know is MSN. If you asking would lowering your car would give you negative camber then i have to say so. ISNT that lowering a car is all about? is excessive negative camber that you need to worry about. rules of thumb 1.5 degree or less of negative camber should be cool without a camber kit.

my car is lowerd with h&R race with 2+ inch, after alignment i have 1.3 negative camber.

do i think you need a camber kit? No, but if you have the cash, go for it.
