exhaust note
I was told by my local shop that upgrading my piping from 2 to 2.25 would give me maybe 1hp but would sound higher pitched. And if i kept stock pipes it would have a deeper tone.

any d-series headers would work. hf/dx/std/si/cx/vx/ex. as for your piping, 1.5 piping is pretty small if you're going to get headers, get at least 2 1/4 piping to get the flow pretty even. it would sound louder with the headers and a larger piping. as for the tone, most of it would depend on your muffler.

I dunno about that, I took the muffler off of my car, then I had a cut out put in, and its really loud. I like it. Keeping the stock size piping wont make it louder, running open header will....
