1998 Accord EX V-6 Odometer Bulb
Went to the dealer to buy a new bulb given that the odometer is no longer lit up at night. The parts guy informed me that I would have get an entire new instrument cluster (thank you Ford) anyhow I was going to take it all apart to see if this is really true, but thought I should ask if anyone has had any experience changing the bulb?
Thanks in Advance.

actually would number 11 in this diagram possibly be the correct bulb and the guy at the dealership was just goofy? Just to clairify the bulb marked 11 in the center of the smaller image at the bottom?
thanks but does anyone know for sure if it's replaceable, i'd rather not pull it out and chance rattles, scratches etc from taking it out if I know already that I can't replace the bulb.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Im pretty damn sure its a bulb man, if honda makes a replaceable bulb for the clock then why wouldnt they make it the same for the dash ?
Doesn't make much sense for them to not.

Honda doesn't make the instrument cluster, FORD does. That would be the reason. The two weakest links on this car so far have been the odometer and fuel gage (ford made) and the alternator (delphi - GM made). Go figure. I guess I'll yank it apart and see. But if anyone knows the answer to this for sure let me know.
Thanks.
Thanks.
