anyone ever experience or hear of someone getting their car jacked while it had a quick release steering wheel? (while the steering wheel was off the car)

i'm thinking of getting one for my car as a security measure and was wondering how effective it really is at dettering theives... thanks.

 

dont matter what alarm u have (unless some type of gps tracking system , and you are quick to find out teh car is gone, or your alarm has gps paging capabilites) or quick release steering/club,autolock/ anything. Where i am from (Boston) they tow cars all day to take them, who is gonna look at a tow truck driver taking a car with its alarm going off? you think reep or the car has aproblem if u see that no? lol it sucks i know but if they really want your car they will get it unless u sleep in it i have learned letting your insurance company know everything you have and keeping all receipts of all work done , is your best bet on getting anything back if they do take it
