So it really wouldn't be worth it?.....just want something a little different looking a little lighter and pretty easy and cost effective

it's not really worth it unless your going for the BLING factor, it'd say keep your stockers

i dont think it'd be worth it, unless your car is like a track-only car where every pound counts. I've taken my door panels off dozens of times and like 91civicLX said, they're really light.

I dont think there would be many options that would look better, while still being much lighter and cost effective. i say keep 'em.

keep em' they weigh nothing..... and "cost effective" well carbon would be so much more $$$.00 that it would not make differance in quickness or topspeed and the car would only be at the most 2 lbs lighter after you recover the doors in carbon..... just my .02 ..... i would take the deadener out of the hatch..... firewall..... and the under seat or compartment ..... that does add up in weight....

the only thing i can think of is, if u have a 90-91, then the seatbelts should be on the doors right? try to do a swap from an 88, the seatbelt assembly weighs a ton. otherwise, the door panels are like foam, keepem for styyyyyyyle.
