Project Second Generation "GSR,GS&SI"
I have a second generation Integra 92 Gs non VTEC. I'm planing on keeping the GS block and draping a 97 and up B16a1 civic SI head on it cause it have a better compression ratio and the VTEC on a SI kick better and harder then the GSR. And getting a OBD2 so I can run my new VTEC and because the head I want is going to be 97 and up. And I'm going with a GSR tranny instead of the GS. "Well that's what I wanna do but I don't know were to star". I know is a big project! Help Help Help!!!!!!!

hmm...maybe a few lessons in english first.
search "ls/vtec" and you'll find many answers.

you know why? the b16a head flows better than the b18c1, but the b18c1 has better middle range power, which i think is ideal, rather than high end only. anyhow, the reason why the b16a head make it feel better is because of the 1.6 liters on the lil civic, thats all that motor can put out until vtec kicks in. as in a GSR motor, the transition is smoother, so it doesn't feel like a hard kick becasue it's got a smooth power deliverly at all times.
but do a search, i personally think it's not worth it doing the ls/vtec.

I'm just trying to get as much power out my b18a1, cause I don't have that much $ to do a engine swap. But I actually don't know if is worth it or not cause I haven't complete the ls/vtec project. Right now I'm just searching and gathering what I need. But for know that's all I can think of to squish a lil of power out my b18a1. "OPEN FOR OPINION"
If you don't have enough $$ for a swap, you won't have enough $$ to do an LS/VTEC conversion and make it reliable. First gen B16's are extremely cheap and bolt right in. Turbo's not a bad idea either. Just my 2 cents.
